DISCORD IN THE NIGERIAN SECURITY: TWO CLAIMS OF SAME STORY. (Nigerian Army Vs. Nigerian Police)

#LetItBeKnown

The technicality and professionalism behind the security plan of any responsible Nation, determines it's foreign policies and her political will to further command all other areas of governance. Therefore the Nigerian security plan shouldn't be exempted.

It is no longer rumour that their is a discord in the channel of communications of the Nigerian Security. This was evident in the alleged press statement by the Nigerian Army about the rescue of a kidnapped victim (Alhaji HAMISU BALA WADUME) from three suspected kidnappers in disguise of police men in TARABA STATE on the 7th August, 2019.

In the counter reaction from the official twitter handle of the Nigerian Police Force, they totally disagree with with the allegations from the Nigerian Army on the grounds that those three suspected kidnappers were officers of the Nigerian police in an official duty and the alleged kidnapped victim (Alhaji. HAMISU BALA WADUME) is a notorious kidnapper who was paraded by the Nigerian police who were shot on a close range by security personnel of the Nigerian Army.

The counter reaction or publication by the Nigerian Police on the alleged case involving her men on duty is a clear indication of compromise in the security plan, or a case of politicization of the Nigerian security and Nigerians have not been told the truth.

This fire without a smoke is abysmal and unwarranted and therefore if not properly investigated;  it will dent the confidence of Nigerians in the Nation's security that the protection of lives, properties and defend of her internal integrity will in no distant time be in jeopardy.

To this end, Mr. President must see it as a matter of National emergency to summon the Chief of Army staff, the Inspector General of Police and all relevant stakeholders in the security network to undergo a meticulous, investigation to ascertain the actual fact behind the above mentioned case in other to restore normality and cordiality between the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Police.
