NGOZI CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE @ 42

May I use this medium to present to the world, the pride of African  Modern Literature, her mastery in the art of Literature is second to none, she swings her pen like Alexander's sword amongst women and today the world rises in ovation as she clocks 42.

CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE, is a Nigerian  born in  the south-eastern part of the country; (ENUGU STATE) to an elite family.

In 2008, ADICHIE was awarded a MacArthur Genius Grant. She was described in the Times Literary supplement as "the most prominent of a procession of critically young acclaimed anglophone Author who is succeeding in attracting a new generation of readers to African Literature."

Novels written by her includes; PURPLE HIBISCUS (2003), HALF OF A YELLOW SUN  (2006), and AMERICANAH (2013), the short story collection; THE THING AROUND YOUR NECK (2009), and the book length essay; WE SHOULD ALL BE FEMINIST (2014), her most recent book of which I'm yet to read; DEAR IJEAWELE published in  (2017).

All this success accrued to her with more, yet to be unleashed are what makes MEN  respect women a lot. We celebrate you ma'am, Congratulations on your birthday.
